This brand is my way of honoring a legacy that began over 60 years ago in Surfside, California. In the mid 1960s, my father, Robert Austin, and his business partner started shaping surfboards under the name Austin-Baird Custom Surfboards. They weren't just building boards - they were building a culture rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and a deep love for the ocean.
Today, I’m proud to carry that spirit forward. This line repurposes old tees with the original Austin-Baird logo and vintage flannels to create surf lifestyle apparel that’s as timeless as the boards my father shaped. Each piece is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind — a blend of past and present, designed to keep the legacy alive with authenticity and soul. This is more than apparel.
